ISHRAI (Iranian Syndicate of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industries) is one of the oldest syndicates in Iran. Since 1973, this institution has dedicated its activities to the encouragement, development, and growth of ISHRAI members and has achieved remarkable success. ISHRAI has based its activities on certain fundamental objectives that show its commitment to securing the long term benefit of its respected members. ISHRAI's main goals and objectives are:

• Securing the rights and interests of ISHRAI members, subject to the constraints of responsibilities.
  
• Executing effective and efficient planning through gathering and processing information and recognizing and solving problems, in order to help members overcome their difficulties and satisfy their needs.
  
• Endeavoring to maximize the production capacities of the manufacturing industries covered by ISHRAI that provide production facilities and sophisticated technologies.
  
• Devoting energy to making continuous product improvements within related industries to offer the best quality, performance, and features. Hand-to-hand and very close cooperation with Iran's Standard and Industrial Research Institute enables ISHRAI to establish a detailed and accurate quality control system to meet desired standards.
  
• Seeking specialists and experts for ISHRAI members to achieve the highest possible results. Sharing ideas with the Ministry of Public Works and other governmental institutions for technical security and a healthy working environment.
  
• Developing and enhancing the selling market within the framework of government laws and regulations and providing the necessary grounds for effective exportation.
  
• Helping ISHRAI members with learning the correct installation techniques, repairs, and maintenance of heating, refrigeration, and air-conditioning systems through the help of professionals and useful scientific Magazines.
  
• Improving working relationships between ISHRAI members and preventing unhealthy competition.
  
• Securing consumer interests by encouraging members to provide better before and after sales services.
  
• Providing the quality raw materials, machinery and spare parts required for ISHRAI manufacturing sectors.
  
• Designing sets of rules and regulations in cooperation with the competent authorities to the advantage of ISHRAI and other related industries.
  
• Presenting legal advice and recommendations with regard to the regulation of working conditions and defending the rights of employers and employees.
  
• Creating effective communication channels between ISHRAI members and the organizations, institutions, and government agencies concerned in order to clarify the tasks of the members inside and outside the country and to pursue this more effectively within the framework of country's jurisdiction.
  
• Working with labor organizations and other Member institutions to better achieve ISHRAI goals and objectives.
  
• Now after more than 3 decades of hard work, ISHRAI has 100 members among the best manufacturers of HVAC, piping and plumbing equipment in the Middle East. It has further established a great reputation among industries, professional institutions, governmental agencies and other related authorities. The following accomplishments are a good representation of ISHRAI's successful operations:
  
• Creation of 11 standard titles for heating, refrigeration and air-conditioning machinery in cooperation with Iran's Standard and Industrial Research Institution.
  
• Providing the necessary grounds for effective exporting through strong marketing, namely, the exhibition of products at international fairs, etc.
  
• Arranging meetings and sharing ideas with government ministries regarding ISHRAI affairs.
  
• Acquisition of license from the Ministry of Industries to establish a company for engineering services and product improvements. This company, which will begin operation in the near future, will function as the backbone of Iran's Standard & Industrial Research Institute to promote better and more effective quality control systems.
  
• Moving towards the establishment of special training courses to help ISHRAI members better install, repair and maintain machinery and systems.
  
• Regular Magazine of "HARARAT VA BORUDAT" (Heat and Cold) and "SANAT TASISAT" (HVAC Industries) Journals, specialized Magazines focused on HVAC, Piping and Plumbing in Iran.
  
• Compilation and Magazine of several book and manual titles on HVAC, Piping and Plumbing
  
  ISHRAI's current affairs are handeled by the board of directors and the syndicate's chairman which are selected from technical groups.
